Crude oil is the country’s second largest source of income. There are even more unexplored oil deposits in the country. In addition, it is known that there are 133 billion barrels/cubic of natural gas reserves. It has the largest hydroelectric power production potential on the Congo River. With the Inga Dam alone, it has the potential to meet the hydropower potential of all South Africa.

There is not enough land infrastructure in the country. Products in the country are usually made by river and air transportation. The most used method of transportation is air transport. Goods coming from outside the country enter the country by air or by means of ports. Products from abroad come by road to Kinshasa and are shipped from here to the rest of the country.

Since the fixed telephony infrastructure of the country is not in use, mobile phone networks have increased. With a law enacted in 2015, the telecommunication sector has been reorganized in the country. Therefore, there will be an opportunity to invest in this sector in the future. In the field of telecommunications, many tenders will be opened for the establishment of new systems, renewal of existing systems, and the creation of satellite and fiber optic infrastructure.

Manufacturing industry in the developing country, auto Assembly, beverage, production, shoes, wheel, battery, soap, plastic and food sectors are available. The government, which tries to make cement, steel and petroleum refineries more efficient, is supporting the local manufacturing industry. However, because of the high costs, imports have prevented production.
